Daniel Wall (born 1965) is a Chinese-American artist known for his “Intense Impressionism” style, which extends Impressionist techniques with vibrant, intensified colors, heavy paint textures applied with a palette knife, and bold, dramatic effects of light to convey themes of love, hope, and the beauty of life. Born in China, Wall received a government scholarship to study art in his youth and later pursued further education and master’s degrees in China, Italy, and the United States, establishing his career in North Carolina. His work often features symbolic elements, such as trees representing a beautiful life and umbrellas symbolizing safety and protection.
