What’s On View
On loan from the Stonewall National Museum & Archives, this special rotating exhibition explores pivotal moments in LGBTQIA+ history and the ongoing fight for equality. Through powerful artifacts, photographs, and stories, visitors will journey from the early struggles for recognition, through the Stonewall Uprising, to the diverse voices and movements shaping the community today.
This exhibition offers an intimate look at the resilience, creativity, and courage of LGBTQIA+ individuals whose stories continue to inspire change and progress. By preserving and sharing this history, the museum invites visitors to reflect, learn, and honor the legacy of those who paved the way.
Our permanent collection proudly showcases works by some of the world’s most celebrated Master Artists, whose influence has shaped the course of art history. From the timeless genius of Picasso, Rembrandt, Dalí, and Chagall to modern visionaries such as Peter Max and other contemporary masters, these works represent centuries of creativity, innovation, and cultural significance.
Each piece in this collection offers a glimpse into the legacy of artists whose impact transcends generations—whether through groundbreaking technique, profound storytelling, or bold exploration of form and color. Together, these works embody the richness of artistic achievement and provide visitors with the opportunity to connect directly with the enduring voices of history’s great masters.
Our Special Installations series highlights the creativity and talent of artists from our own community. By showcasing the work of local and regional artists, the museum provides a platform for emerging and established creators to share their unique voices, perspectives, and stories.
These rotating installations celebrate the diversity of artistic expression found close to home, fostering a deeper connection between the museum, the artists, and the community we serve. Visitors will experience fresh and innovative works that reflect the spirit, culture, and evolving identity of our region.
