Group and School Visits
Welcome!
Advance reservations are required for all adult and student groups, as well as for any third-party guided tours, no matter the group size.
You may request a guided group tour or book admission to lead your own group. K–12 school groups can also request a live virtual tour led by a Museum guide. For more details or to make a reservation, please select a category below.
All group visitors are expected to follow the Visitor Guidelines.

Group Fees
Membership benefits and other admission passes do not apply to group visits.
Organizations with limited resources may be eligible for reduced rates or fee waivers. Please let us know your options when submitting your reservation request.

Guided Visits
Enjoy engaging, one-hour private tours led by trained museum guides, which will provide your group with meaningful opportunities to connect with remarkable works of art.
To request a guided visit, please submit the Group Visit Request Form at least three weeks prior to your desired date. All tours are dependent on guide availability.
Group Size
Guided tours are limited to 50 participants. Larger groups may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Groups exceeding 25 people will be split into smaller groups before entering the galleries.
Self-Guided Visits and Lecturing
Groups are welcome to explore the Museum’s collection on their own and may bring their own lecturer. To arrange a self-guided group visit, please complete the Group Visit Request Form at least one week in advance.
Only submit a request if you are reasonably confident you can attend. Frequent no-shows or last-minute cancellations may lead to limited booking privileges.
Lecturing is not allowed in special exhibitions, and access to all galleries cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Group Size
Self-guided visits are limited to 50 participants. Larger groups may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Groups exceeding 25 people will be asked to divide into smaller groups before entering the galleries. Each lecturer may lead no more than 25 individuals.

The Southern Nevada Art Museum welcomes college and university student groups to explore its collection. You may book a private tour led by a Museum guide or request a self-guided visit to lead your own students through the galleries.

University and college faculty and their students are welcome to explore the Museum’s collection on their own. To request a self-guided group visit, please complete the Group Visit Request Form above at least one week in advance.
Faculty intending to lecture in the galleries must reserve a lecturer’s badge ahead of time and may not exceed 25 people per lecturer.
Lecturing is not allowed in special exhibitions, and access to all galleries is not guaranteed at all times.

K-12 School Groups
The Southern Nevada Art Museum is open to all school-age students! You can request a guided tour led by trained Museum educators and volunteers, or opt for a self-guided visit where you lead your students through the Museum on your own. Virtual school tours are also available, allowing The Southern Nevada Art Museum to connect with your classroom online for a live art experience.

Group Fees
Schools located outside of Nevada, as well as tourism professionals and other organizations coordinating school or youth group visits, are subject to the fees listed below.
Group admission is not covered by membership benefits or other passes.
Organizations with limited resources may be eligible for substantially reduced rates or fee waivers. Please inquire about this when submitting your reservation request.
Non-profit camps and youth organizations may receive discounted rates.

Guided Visits
Guided tours at The Southern Nevada Art Museum provide wonderful opportunities for your students to deepen their experiences with great works of art! Museum-trained educators and volunteers lead engaging, inquiry-based discussions that enhance curriculum connections and foster critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning.
Tours are 60 minutes long; you’re welcome to continue exploring the galleries with your students afterward.
Each school may schedule one group visit per day, with a maximum of three guided visits per semester.
Guided tours for K–12 groups are offered in English only.
Group Size
Guided tours require a minimum of 10 students and can accommodate up to 50 students. Larger groups may be considered on a case-by-case basis. One adult chaperone is required for every 10 students.
To ensure student engagement and safety in the galleries, groups will be split into smaller pods for the tour.
The Museum reserves the right to limit the number of adult chaperones participating in school group tours.
Self-Guided Visits and Lecturing
Teachers and their students are welcome to explore the Museum’s collection on their own.
