Slava Brodinsky

Slava Brodinsky (b. 1955)

Slava Brodinsky is an acclaimed Israeli painter known for his rich, textural landscapes and village scenes that celebrate the warmth and simplicity of rural life. Born in Bender, Moldova (then part of the Soviet Union), Brodinsky studied at the School of Art in Kishinev and worked as a graphic designer before emigrating to Israel in the 1990s to pursue painting full time.

Brodinsky’s work is characterized by a warm, earthy palette and a distinctive use of palette knife and impasto, creating compositions that are as tactile as they are visually evocative. His paintings often feature rolling hills, sun-drenched fields, and red-roofed villages, capturing a sense of nostalgia and tranquility.

Exhibited widely across Europe, Israel, and the United States, Brodinsky’s paintings are held in numerous private and corporate collections. Collectors are drawn to his ability to convey both the physical beauty and the emotional essence of the landscapes he portrays.

Through his art, Slava Brodinsky offers viewers a window into serene, pastoral worlds—meditations on home, memory, and the enduring harmony between humanity and nature.
